La Masia Freixa is a modernist building in the city of Terrassa situated in Sant Jordi Park and adjacent to the farmhouse. Built in 1896 was renovated between 1907 and 1914 by Lluís Parellada Muncunill. The architect made it one of the jewels of Terrassa modernism, with its structure of arches and vaults of Gaudi inspiration with whitewashed walls, and projecting a high tower. For many years housed the Municipal Conservatory of Music, currently, has been transferred to another new building on the University Campus.
The house was designed originally to serve as a spinning factory and transformed by Muncunill architect in the family home of the textile industrialist Joaquim Freixa i Argemí.
