Yesterday I posted an image of Yosemite that did not include one of the iconic formations. Today, I'm posting an image of one of the most photographed scenes in the Park - Tunnel View. The only twist is that most tourists never see a clearing storm scene like this with their own eyes. Timing has to be perfect and as the clouds lit, the Valley opened in front of me (and about 10 other photographers)! If you want to shoot fresh snow scenes in the Valley, be there as the storm is starting to clear. The Valley runs from 4,000 - 4,200 feet and the snow melts quickly with most storms.
