If there is one festival the whole of Kochi impatiently awaits every year, then it's the Cochin Carnival held in the last week of December. Fort Kochi is decked up like a bride and tourists, not only from within the country, but also outside, flock to this lovely port city to participate in the revelry. The inception of the Kochi carnival can be traced back to the Portuguese New Year revelry, held here during the colonial days. Gradually, it evolved to take the form of what is today popularly called the Cochin Carnival of Kerala.
Cochin carnival is the time of merry making and the entire place gets filled with colors and the joyous laughter of the people. The Cochin Carnival brings along a mood of joyous togetherness and the carnival seems to be the best way to end the end the year.

I guess a "normal" comment in some forums would have been related to the half hand here, I am not bothered with that since I think it's not that important to this picture. You have leading lines from both lower corners, You already know what I think about leading lines from some of the corners.
I like it anyway and I think you made a great capture of this carnival.
