This image was taken at the International Wolf Center in Ely, Minnesota. This is Grizzer, my favorite wolf at the IWC. Grizzer had to be put into the retirement area because he was too nice to stay as the alpha male. The youngsters, Denali and Aiden, took avantage of this. So for his safety, Grizzer was put prematurely into the retirement enclosure.
