Philadelphia has a section in South Philadelphia called the"Italian Market" where there are tons of outdoor vendors selling everything from fish to nuts, fruit and long underwear. There are brick & mortar stores but the vendors line both sides of the street and it is just wonderful for shopping. I saw this scale and even though it still has a weight on it a vendor had just weighed tomatoes and when he took the bag off the scale it took a second for the scale to reset. I must have clicked right before it went back to zero. This scale must be ancient but is still being used. If you ever go to Philly you must go to the Italian Market. It's great.
