The old warehouse district done in pseudo-HDR. I never get tired of photographing old buildings, especially brick walls and windows with peeling paint. I didn’t have time to setup for a multiple exposure High Dynamic Range image so I did the next best thing.
This single raw image had enough data to do a good simulation of HDR. I always like doing straight, flat, graphic designs like this. It’s a challenge to get the elements right without ending up with just another boring photo. The drain pipe and weathered awnings caught my eye and MADE me stop for this shot. Or maybe it was some strange force. Take a closer look at the windows. WooOOoo! Just maybe.
And the “Lighting” in the title. . .that’s what windows provide.
