The White-winged Dove (Zenaida asiatica) is one of the most common birds in Austin along with the Grackle and House Sparrow, so common that it can be oddly invisible, though with their blue eye ring and white barring in their wings, I think they are pretty birds. They are fairly skittish around people, I took this photo through a (dirty) window - the bird fled once it spotted me.
