No, the title's not a World of Warcraft reference. I haven't picked up a game console controller since the days of getting my head stomped on as Ryu over and over again by that fruitcake Bison during my USC days (I eventually beat him, though...the acrobatic jerk). I stopped playing video games once they went 3-dimensional, owing to my nauseating indoctrination into the genre with Wolfenstein 3D on my 233-MHz (or something like that) PC. Nowadays I spend my time cursing my 2.4-GHz iMac when it can't keep up with me on Photoshop.
Anyway, this was 3-shot composition was made just 17 minutes after "Outer Sanctum", illustrating just how quickly the light was changing even though it seemed imperceptible moment to moment. And even though that incredible crimson light had given way to hues us non-early birds are more accustomed to, the scene still managed to take my breath away...and breathe it right back in me.
