Nevada has 3 red rock canyons in a National Conservation Area that is well worth the visit next time you go to VEGAS!! I believe the NCA is only about 13-15 miles drive and absolutely scenic offering fantastic photography. I only wish that we had head out to he canyons earlier than we did for better lighting, but all in all we had some nice clouds and even a storm that added to our photos ops.
This shot is on a tripod with the EF24-70mmlens as I had a very small aperture to take in the entire vista.
