We had waited for an hour or more at the Telia lake for a sighting of the tiger & were shooting birds and landscapes. A little disappointed, we started to go to another location on the narrow, single lane, dirt road.

And suddenly, she royally emerged from around the corner. We could just gasp, as we were within her easiest of charge range. Our gypsy screeched to a halt, as she kept slowly coming at us. The driver reversed quickly for a cricket pitch length, but she languorously ambled in, not very unlike Mohinder Amarnath's bowling runup. We clicked a few & again retreated. This went on for four times. Our hands shook a bit, shutter speeds who cared, good composition rules went out of the ears. This carnivore supreme, was closing in with every powerful paw she put forward. She eyed six days of delicious human protein feed in the open Gypsy & licked her lips. What do you mean - Scary!!?? We were thankful that our sphincter muscles remained shut! Phew! :-)
