Thank you very much for your votes and comments!!!
Many of you asked, how long did I have to wait to capture this fox yawning. The short answer is for a very long time. I took this photo during my longest shift as a park in a remote ranger station in Kamchatka in Kronotsky Nature Reserve in 2010-2011. I lived there for 370 consecutive days, mostly just by myself. My only company during winter were wild animals, such as foxes, mooses, reindeer and wolverines. If you live in the wilderness and do not hurt animals, they get used to you. But it is always important to remember that wild animals are wild and unpredictable and respect them. During these days I was keeping an online journal using satellite internet.
You are welcome to read about this period in my blog in English: wildlife-photo-russia.blogspot.com/.
