Limestone Arch on the Oparara River, Kahurangi National Park, New Zealand

The Oparara river system has been sculpting the 35 million-year-old limestone into an intriguing complex of caves, arches and channels for million of years. This arch, is known as Moria Gate.

I was intrigued with textures in the limestone and like how it contrasted with the smooth tea colored water. While the 'window' of native bush gives the viewer a glimpse on whats on the other side.
