Heading home along the highway, the sun caught my eye and I rushed to the nearest scenic point. I got there just in time to grab the shot, and by the time I was back in the car it was twilight.
This image was made at a resort off of the highway. In the winter, I didn’t expect anyone to be around, but the front office was open. I walked in and there was no one around. After a few minutes of waiting (I was going to ask for permission) I decided to just head around back and make the image. Good thing I did, as the light was disappearing.
