As many of you know, I photograph mostly bears…… Bears of any and all kinds…. Plus as many of you that know me …. know that sometimes I can get really, really too close to my subjects, (mostly not of my doings)…… Well this was one of those times that it was not of my doings. Before the wife and I took off to Alaska, I had bought a scimmer, ( a devise that you can put your camera and lens on to lay down on the ground and photograph). As we were driving up though British Columbia, north of Jasper, I seen a black bear with cubs some 50 yards away. I decided to try out my new scimmer to see if I could get that low angle profile look……. As I was clicking away at the sow and cubs, I heard a noise to my right and there he was….. he didn't move and I didn't move for about what seemed like 5 minutes or so, (I'm sure it was shorter than that)….. he didn't look like I was bothering him, so I turned and too this one and only shot……Then I got up to get back to the truck and he turned and ran. When I looked at the image I got of him …. and it looked like he had this look of Ooohhh Noooo!!!
