The Wai-Mu-Shan coastline is one of the most magnificent rocky coasts of north-east Taiwan. It was my first visit there with friends and a Nikon D90 in 2012. This shot was taken at the beautiful and magical moment where the sun was just starting to rise, and the clouds were full of color – they were perfect for the shot! I used the black card technique to break up my long exposure, aiming to give a greater sense of tranquility. Then I processed the shot in Nikon ViewNX 2 and Photoshop, mainly tweaking the white balance to affect the color and tone.
