An artistic epitaph for the victims of Katyn.
On Saturday April 10 2010 a one hundred-meter long piece of fabric covered Świdnicka Street from the Market Square to the underground passage. In this way Jerzy Kalina wanted to commemorate the victims of the Katyn massacre. But because of the news that had been released from Smolensk, the pall on the pavement became doubly symbolic. - It is a sign of double mourning - the artist said.
