I could not let International Dark Sky Week pass without getting out at least once with the camera to show my dark skies. I have had a lot of cloud and smoke from forestry fuel reduction burn offs lately, but things finally cleared up a bit this morning. With the central bulge of the Milky Way directly overhead just before dawn, I thought that it was time to do another vertical panorama.
Vertical panorama made from 10 horizontal images. The Zodiacal Light streams towards the central bulge of the Milky Way and the first light of the approaching dawn appears on the horizon.
