Many thanks to all of you who voted and commented on my Little Spiderhunter :^)

The subject I'm posting up today is a Grey-Eyed Bulbul I came across during a trip to Kaeng Krachan National Park in Phetchaburi Province.

Not quite the most exotic of bird species we have over here in Thailand, but in spite of that and the somewhat cluttered surrounding of the natural forest setting, I very much like the way the light fell on it through the leaves as well as the serious expression combined with the outstretched wing, as to my mind it appears as though the subject is preaching a sermon on the perils of sin, while being lit from the heavens above as though it has been ordained by a Higher Power!
