Lake Champlain, VermontHere's another from my Lake Champlain series. Wasn't entirely convinced the light would go off like this but sure glad I waited it out. I like to arrive at my locations with plenty of time to scout, working several compositional angles in case the good stuff happens in unexpected parts of the sky. I had originally wanted to shoot in a more southerly direction and was hoping for some nice sidelight just before sunset. When that didn't happen I knew I had a backup comp looking to the northwest. A little, un seen gap provided for a great display of color well after sunset. As always thanks for taking a peek and feel free to share!
