The Riwaka Resurgence is a natural spring that flows from the base of the Takaka Hill, Tasman District, New Zealand. The water is icy cold and clear and gives a decidedly cooling effect. The evening I went it was about 30 degC but you could feel the temp drop rapidly as you get under the canopy and close to the river. Easily accessed, it's about a 10 minute walk from the carpark and you can spend a few hours here exploring different parts.
