Active across an array of stage, film, and commercial endeavors, Rebecca Honett is a multifaceted actor and performance artist currently based in Hollywood, California. Recently relocated from New York City, she has also engaged performances in Boston and San Francisco. Rebecca has fulfilled lead cinematic roles in South-by-Southwest award-winner Lost Zombies short drama No Candles and the comedic webseries Tüte Voller Kinder, and recently participated in the Underground Theatre's dynamic production of Marat/Sade. Other recent projects include a Garnier commercial for Break.com and the political commercial Let Me Decide, shot by Philip Dixon. Sustaining activity across a variety of theatrical projects, she also fields regular commercial print and modeling work. Additionally, Rebecca's ongoing efforts within creative movement-based acting include a stint in the company of Manhattan's American Mime Theatre.
Rebecca recently attended programs through Upright Citizens Brigade and Breakthrough Studios, and continues to study with the Ivana Chubbuck Studio, the Groundlings School, and Act Now. She holds a BA in Theatre and Music and an MM in Historical Performance. Though initially trained as an early music soprano, Rebecca has successfully performed across the genres of jazz, pop, church music, and musical theater. Rebecca is a member of SAG and AFTRA.
She lives with her husband and two dogs and is an avid fan of yoga. Additionally, amid ongoing efforts to bolster her creative education and expand her horizons, she has recently developed her proficiency toward the mastery of balloon animal art.
