This is the lower Kanarra falls in Kanarraville, UT just north of the Zion national park. This slot canyon is one of the many interesting canyons besides The Narrows and subway. What makes this interesting is the tobacco pipe looking ladder. I found this little hidden gem via flickr, in particular the photostream from Bill Ratcliffe, he’s got some really nice images in the Zion area. There are multiple elements that make this particular comp interesting - the water fall in the slot canyon, the light reflecting wall, the rocks and some human intervention (ladder and rope) in a good way.
This is a 3 exposure blend and each was taken with a Singh Ray LB warming polarizer. Hope you have a great weekend!
