Even though Andy Warhol and I both grew up in Pittsburgh, PA, I didn't know him. He was older than I and we lived in different parts of the town. He went to Schenley High School; I went to Peabody. He studied at Carnegie Institute of Technology and I studied at the University of Pittsburgh. He made a name for himself in the field of pop art and even later went on to get involved in the film world.

I've made a name for myself in education, health care, aerospace, and the computer industry. I'm certainly not as well known as Mr. Warhol, but I surely worked hard at different careers ;^)

Now if I could only follow Andy Warhol's footsteps in the world of art and photography . . . Just paint me an optimist.
