I had the opportunity to take this profile photo of Sebastião Salgado (first plane on left), whom I consider one of the living masters of photography, viewing his own work projected on a large screen video, during last night's Strauch-Mosse Lecture organized by Lesley University.

The Strauch-Mosse Lecture took place at the Rabb Auditorium of the Boston Public Library, which had just reopened the day before following the bombings on Boylston street on April 15, 2013.

It was a very inspiring evening in which Sebastião Salgado talked about his views on photography, his philosophy, and graciously answered questions from the audience.

Thanks to Lesley University for organizing the lecture and making the event public!
