A Robin on my latest prop in the garden, and old Birch Trunk! The birds were quickly accustomed to it and I've had Dunnock, Robin and Blackbird on it. Keeping log piles and dead trunks around the garden is great for wildlife, providing home for insects as well as shelter for frogs and lizards. A simple way to make your garden more wildlife friendly, I have two set up in the garden. They are easy to make; just get some wood and put it in a pile!
