This is Fairbrook Naze on the Northern Edge of Kinder Scout, looking down to the Snake Pass and the woodlands valley. It's a fair trek up, about a hour on mainly muddy paths but it's a lovely walk up and you won't bump into many people, You get to see some cracking views and some nice waterfalls, plus Kinder looks a lot more dramatic from this side. In summer when the heather is out this side of Kinder will literally turn purple, a great sight!Anyway, this was taken in the golden hour looking down the brook with a gritstone formation at the top providing the focal point.
