I rented a canon 100mm f/2.8 macro L lens and went to the botanical garden here in Montreal Quebec Canada. I was mostly focused on flower macro photography. As I was trying to compose this shot, a bee just flew into the shot. I tried to focus and take the image as quickly as possible before he flew away, and hoped that the image was sharp enough and that the bee was in proper focus. Taken at the Montreal Botanical Garden with a Canon 60D and 100mm Macro f/2.8 IS L lens. Fun facts! The honey bee has been around for 30 million years, and it is the only insect that produces food eaten by man. The honeybee's wings stroke 11,400 times per minute, thus, making their distinctive buzz.
