Ha ! This light house in Ostend is called "The Lange Nelle". "Nelle" being a woman's name and "lange" = "long". The tower is 65 meters high, and the "Fresnellenses" are about 5 meters high (total = 70 meters). To climb this tower, there are 324 steps. The light has a frequency of 3 long flashes every 10 seconds, with a pauze. In morse, this is _ _ _ (long-long-long) or the character "O" from Ostend. In optimal conditions, the light is visible at 50 km outside the coast ! The tower was build in 1948 and was painted blue & white in 1998...
