This was shot as part of my first editorial spread with Bullett Magazine. I wrote a blog post about the experience and about shooting fashion! You can read that here. There are also pics that are not published in the magazine there (some of my faves from the shoot) as well as storyboards too.

This is different from some of the things I would normally do, given that the model is staring down the camera, the pose is different from something I might normally choose...but this one isn't only about my personal work, it is about the fashion (dress from Dior, necklace from Broken English). It was odd for me, trying to bring together fashion and art. I approached it was 100% art, and I let the stylist step in if something needed to be photographed differently. Trust me, I am still ALL ABOUT personal work and won't be switching anytime soon, but trying new things is always a good kick in the butt and a great way to broaden horizons. This was shot as a long exposure in complete darkness on the beach. Everyone was tripping over rocks and shuffling about as the model tried to stay perfect still as I captured this image.
