This photograph was taken on a surreal morning in the magical Devil's Garden, Escalante. This site on the edge of the Grand Staircase - Escalante National Monument contains monoliths, arches, hoodoos, and petrified sand dunes. It is accessible by Hole-in-the Rock road from Utah SB 12 just north of the village of Escalante.
