This shot of Proxy Falls is probably my favorite shot from my recent Oregon bootcamp trip with fellow photographers Jave and Alan. Though a bit out of the way, Proxy Falls was well worth the visit. This waterfall is literally a beast: in terms of shear size, beauty, and difficulty in shooting it.To our luck, the road to Proxy Falls was open earlier than expected and the spring runoff was magnificent for full flow and extreme green moss. As the morning sun rose, I decided to position myself where the sun would cross between the trees and create a sun burst. Not only did I get a sun burst but the heavy mist acted as a medium for which the sunlight to create multiple light beams.
