This place is near to the borders of Czech Republic with Germany, often called Sudetenland (wiki it). It was a place where members of German minority lived in Czech Republic, till the WW2 when they got deported on the basis of collective guilt. It was a very vivid area, which is gone for almost 60 years. Only the graveyards and cemeteries remained. After the Cold War Germans are coming back to the places where their ancestors lived, and are taking care of these cemeteries. All of them I have seen are preserved in a good condition. It is very nice if you think about that the vast majority of these graves are from the 19th Century! In this picture I present you one of them, remembering the sad history of this area.
