This "painting with light" night shot has been on my mind for awhile now, after attending a fantastic photography workshop run by Gavin Hoey (check youtube / facebook) at the Gatwick Aviation Museum, UK.
A composite of 17 shots (950Mb PSD! Holy ....) each illuminated by a small hand held led torch. I probably rather naively just stuck the camera at 30sec, f8, ISO100. I need a revisit to get it right, a smoother passage of light but I'm quite pleased with this, as a first result, especially since rain stopped play and this was the only attempt I managed to walk away with.
