So true of this morning. Imagine — Death Valley, it's almost summer. I'm dead tired from driving and shooting until late night.
Tomorrow I have to wake up at 4:00 am to make some coffee and be out by 4:30 am to shoot dunes. Sunrise is at 5:40 am, but it's pretty bright by 5:00 am.
Photographers are making the way through the sand — some barefoot — to get the best view of the shot when the sun is up (the shooting window with great shadows is a mere 5-10 minutes!).
