Normally, whenever I visit this Blea Tarn in the Lake District, I tend to stay around the shoreline. So yesterday I got here handy for sunset and made the strenuous trudge up to Birk Knott for my vantage point of choice. This shot was actually taken about half way up and was more of a break to get my breath back. That said, I did make the most of this level before reaching my summit. I love the higher viewpoint giving you chance to view through to the Langdales.
