Another COMPOSITE image, the dust layer, to help isolate the bull and falling rider but not to completely hide the background.
The goal, for the rider, is to stay aboard the bull for 8 seconds. It doesn't sound like a long time but when the bull is 1800 pounds (800+ kilos) of constantly turning, twisting and jumping muscle the task is exceedingly difficult and dangerous. The bullfighter in the background was already moving to distract the bull from the fallen rider.
