There is quite a story behind this series of images, this was the hardest I've ever worked for images. It took me 7 hours to hike up to this ridge with a 60 pound pack, through waist deep powder, even with snowshoes on. Then I had to set up my winter camp in the dark, and wait out storms for 3 days. I woke on the 3rd day to find the most peaceful and serene conditions I've ever experienced, all the more rare because I was on an exposed mountain ridge. Although it was the hardest trip of my life, it was also the most fun, and rewarding trip as well. I had an amazing experience. Thanks for commenting!Proud team member of Photocascadia
