Running around in the dark, seeking a compelling composition among a chaotic landscape of random cactus and brush was quite a difficult task. You find a shot, and then doubt sets in poking and prodding you. Perhaps there's a better composition out there? So you move again anticipating where the sun will rise and time is running out. At last the sun peaks over the mountains and you have only one chance to snap the perfect shot. But what if you're missing a better subject and composition??? This is the photographer's dilemma...
This photograph was taken at Organ Pipe Cactus National Monument near the Mexican boarder in Arizona.
