This is one from a series of shots I took last year. The sharpness on the right wolf is seriously compromised but I just like the energy of this capture... Neither wolf was hurt, but the high pitched yelping went right through you....

This was captured at the Cotswold Wildlife Park and this pack are all female. This is also full frame, handheld with the 300mm and 1.4xtc which takes the focal length to 420mm - been asked that question a few times.

Anyway these are Canadian Timber Wolves obviously reside in Canada, namely Alaska, Northern Rookies, Western and Central Canada. Such beauty and I cannot wait for the day to see them in their natural environment. However my heart truly lies with all animals to live their lives as they should in their own environment. Sadly the majority of the time there isn't room for them because of us!
