The southern most point in the United States on the Big Island of Hawaii. Waves beat the 50ft cliffs of the shore, formed of volcanic rock long ago. I was perilously close to the cliffs edge. I don't like heights! VOG, a sort of haze in the sky caused by the volcanic gasses that are emitted from Hawaiis volcano give the sky a luminescent glow. I loved the sunsets on the island. This was my last night of my trip. After this shot, I drove up to kona, had a beer and a burger at Huggos, and went to sleep in my car in the walmart parking lot before my flight home in the morning. They kicked me out at 2AM! I thought they allowed you to stay in their parking lots overnight? Haha, oh well.
