You know how it is, you take all the way up to the top of the mountain -and I'm talking the Andes here- to take a photo of the farm from above and this condor gets on the way! To be honest I was warned that they nest there but I didn´t expect them to fly so close to me. And they're so big, with their 3 meters wingspan you can't see much else, bummer! Anyway, since for some reason I can't upload a landscape I give you another bird from Patagonia.

BTW, I was being sarcastic, I went up there just to see them and, boy, did I see them! is such a majestic sight. Their wingspan is only exceeded by Albatrosses and certain Pelicans and they're an important part of the lore and legends of Andean people ("Condor" comes from quechua tonge) to the point of being the national bird of Bolivia, Ecuador, Perú, Colombia and Chile. Is also featured in coats of arms and coins. Unfortunately it's threatened.
