Coal mining in WV is a family tradition and at the End of the Day when the work is done and the lights are burning you know you made a difference. After working around the mine's personally I found a new respect for what the men done on the surface mine's and the underground mine's . Each of different source of mining but but equally as important., for both put food on the table and supplies energy to millions. Now the president is wanting to do away with Coal Mine's and make our home into a ghost town, without the mines there are little jobs to be found and with that ppl will moving out of the area to find work if there is any to be found. For the most part our state didn't vote for him due to his Coal War motives. In fact it was between him and a man in prison. Yes that is right a man that know one knew of or what crimes he committed was there on the ballot running against the president and the man in jail with no way to voice his views etc.. Gave him a run for his money.. So really how sad that we would rather vote for a man we never heard of over the president.. Speaks volumes in how the coal fields feels about taking our livelihoods away from us like we are just dust in the wind.
