Harry, this falls is not marked, so you have to know what MP (mile post) it is. I think there has been a sign for this falls at some point, but it is out in the woods, and most of the signs out there have been used for target practice...
I scouted out a path. Actually easy to get to, just steeper than it looks coming back up - but nothing shady. This river is much deeper than it appears. I usually have no reservations about risking safety to get the shot - but it was wicked cold this AM and I didn't feel like swimming this AM. I suspect the spring and fall colors are amazing. Sean Bagshaw has a great shot from the base of this in the fall.
You'll enjoy your visit down here on the south coast. So many waterfalls...so little time. When you do make it down, there are a couple of falls I want to make sure you get too. Looking forward to your visit.
