Last month I headed up to TDH mountain and was treated to an amazing display of light. Just before sunset a thunderhead settled right above mt hood and I had about 5 minutes of amazing light. That image will follow, but for now, here is a blue hour shot from the same evening. This is a 3 image blend: 1 for the foreground taken about 30 minutes after sunset and 2 for dynamic range in the sky taken about 30-40 minutes after the first image. I stayed around until the stars came out, but thought that plugging stars in between the streaking clouds would be a little overkill. Other notes:please check out my updated website:http://www.jordanekphotography.com/I have a number of new images up that I haven't gotten around to sharing here. Also, I will be heading to Glacier NP from around Aug 1-10. If anyone is interested in joining me then let me know. Thanks for looking and for any comments, faves, etc!
