Additionally, the composition is something I've wanted to try for a while as well and a little disappointed that the right jetty was set back a little, which is why I decided on the slightly off centre approach, as it seemed to give it more balance... if that makes any sense at all?
Things have been busy over the last few months, as I was preparing for some of my work to be displayed and hit a few walls with printing and then making decisions on how to frame the shots... but I got there in the end and I must say thanks to Jeff Gaydash and Giles McGarry for their advice. If you want to view my shots in print, they are on display until the end of January at: The Duke, 125 Creek Road, Deptford, London SE8 3BU. It's a gastro pub and I can highly recommend the fish finger sandwich ;-)
Also, I ran my first workshop in November with Doug Chinnery which was a fantastic day and had the chance to put a lot of faces to famililar names. On the back of the success of the workshop, Doug and I will be running another in March in Whitby Yorkshire, if you're interested in attending then please contact Doug via his website: www.dougchinnery.com
Hope everyone is well and hope you all have a great New Year.
