With the first real snow day here in the mountains, it was time for me to dig through the archives again; only to come across this image from this year's fall color season that was, as always, too short but spectacular.
I initially decided the image previously posted was my favorite but over time, this one grew on me. I like the light much better in the background, find it more compositionally appealing in terms of lead in and the swirl is less directly in your face which when viewed really large, haunts you.
Anyway, I'll leave it up to you to decide which one you like best.
