There has been a ton of times I've driven by huge fields of yellow mustards around the Bay Area. For once, I finally decided to shoot one of these mass fields of yellow. Luckily my buddy Jave knew of a nearby park that had these fields and we scouted them out the night before. With the edge of a storm hitting the Bay Area during the morning, the conditions seemed like it could be excellent for sunrise. The sky was blanketed with thick but textured clouds. For a while it seemed like skunk city and then it came. In the blink of an eye the horizon began glowing pink. It grew and grew before a decent portion of the sky lit up. The light literally lasted for only a few minutes but it was all I needed.
