A Great Egret and a Tricolored Heron battle in the sky to claim a nesting site established by the egret but poached by the heron.
Audubon Magazine online recently featured this photo in a 10 image slideshow on their site. It also finished in the final Top 100 in the prestigious Photography Awards this year.
I have been away and lately very ill, but, particularly with all the positive changes, I thought it would be nice to justify Diana's and Oleg's faith in me. I am mostly on Google+ now, but hope to be back here regularly.
