My first attempt at processing this didn't turn out too well. Photoshop had been acting up and there were weird light gradations across all of the stitched photos. I gave it a few days and tried with a few less pictures to see if that made any difference (there were 32 in total) and low and behold it worked fine. Above is the full 32 images in one pano. We shot this at the top of Loughcrew, near Oldtown, Co. Meath. It's overlooking the sun setting over Co. Cavan, where I'm from. I included as little of the ground as possible intentionally, I felt the sky was the most important thing for this shot and I knew the huge cloud formation would turn out amazing if I covered all of it. We may have used one or two ND grads to balance exposure but I can't remember.
I love the colours in the image but I think I may have over done the darkness in the clouds a bit. And I'm on the fence about the amount of ground that was included.Apart from the stitching, everything was done in Lightroom 4.
