This shot was taken in the morning hours of January 4th, 2012 during the Quadrantid Meteor shower at the East Point Lighthouse in Maurice River, NJ. The temperature ranged from a cool 15 degrees up to a warm 18 before factoring in an even colder wind. The lighter blue on the right side of the frame is the pre-twilight light as the last frame was taken approximately an hour before sunrise.
